Delaware County Assessor’s Office

The Delaware County Assessor’s Office has two (2) full-time positions available. One Clerk/Appraiser and one Field Appraiser. General office duties include assisting the public with property assessment information and property tax credit/exemption applications and providing administrative and clerical support to the Assessor’s Office.

 

Responsible for discovering, listing, and valuing property. Inspects and measures remodeled property, new construction, and existing property, including all the components related to the premises for residential and agricultural properties. Must have strong computer skills. Experience in appraisal, real estate, assessment, construction, or GIS is helpful.

 

Must have/maintain a valid driver’s license and be a high school graduate/equivalent.
