Delaware County Public Health is an integral component of the health care system to Prevent, Promote, and Protect the health of residents in Delaware County. The public health department operates under 10 essential functions, which Include:
- Monitor health status to identify community health problems.
- Diagnose and investigate health problems and health hazards in the community.
- Inform, educate, and empower people about health issues.
