  • Building permits currently are not required in rural areas of Delaware County.
  • You should check to see if there are city requirements that extend beyond the corporate limits.
  • Delaware County does require septic and well permits.

  • Driveway permits are required for a new entrance to a rural lot or acreage. 
  • Also any work within the right of way does require a permit from the Delaware County Secondary Road Department.
